To keep "Australian Tropical Product’s" prices down without compromising the quality of our products, we need to keep our administrative costs as low as possible. We can achieve this with your help and understanding of our simple payment terms and conditions. Before proceeding with your order, we would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions outlined below, as well as our privacy policy.

These terms and conditions apply to the sale of all and any goods offered on this web site as well as to the browsing of "Australian Tropical Products". Variations or cancellations of these conditions shall not be binding unless agreed to by „Australian Tropical Products“ in writing.

1.Acceptance

The purchaser agrees to accept these terms and conditions by placing his/her order with "Australian Tropical Products".
The site visitor agrees to accept these terms and conditions by browsing the "Australian Tropical Products" web site.

2. Warranty

This warranty does not cover damage due to neglect, misuse, abuse or accident. The purchaser agrees to pay for the freight of any goods to be returned under this warranty and to contact "Australian Tropical Products" before returning goods under this warranty to receive a return authorization.

3. Return Policy

"Australian Tropical Products" ensures that your order is packaged and handled with due care. However if you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item you may return any of the goods purchased from "Australian Tropical Products" within 20 days of delivery.

A full refund can only be granted if "Australian Tropical Products" sent an incorrect item.

Any refused shipments will be charged at 20% restocking fee and credited less the original shipping costs.

Important : Please contact "Australian Tropical Products" prior to returning any goods. The cost of return freight will be the purchaser’s responsibility. All other goods will be replaced free of charge.
We will only issue refunds for the return of items that have no signs of obvious use.

4. Prices

All recommended prices quoted on this website are in Australian dollars (incl. GST) and exclusive of shipping and handling fees. Overseas orders by credit card will use the exchange rate on the day they are charged, which may vary from the exchange rate on the day of order.
International visitors wishing to calculate the equivalent in their own currency, can do so online.

For currency conversion please visit The Universal Currency Converter website to determine the exact amount of your order when converting to or from AU$. Note: Your bank may charge conversion fees upon placement of the order. This is beyond the control of "Australian Tropical Products" and its agreement with PayPal for use of Merchant facilities on this website.

5. Stock Delivery
We usually ship your order within 2 business days. But please allow up to 14 working days for delivery of your order, just in case we do not have your requested item in stock. In this case you will receive notification e-mail.  If you would like to check the delivery time for a particular item, please contact us.

6. Orders

All items are sold on a no refund basis.

7. Payment Terms

Please Note: Payments are due in full on placement of order. Your order will only be dispatched once your payment has been received. We offer several options you can choose from to pay for your products: - we will contact you on receipt of your order to confirm your payment and delivery details .
We accept VISA, MasterCard and Australia Post Money Order.
Note a): For an order lower that $ 21 we will add a handling fee of $ 10.

Note b): Transfer Fees and Shipping Fees  are not included in our unit prices. The Fees will be shown at the Check out. If necessary, we will contact you on receipt of your order to quote your shipping fees based on the quantities you order.

8. Delivery Terms & Shipping Fees

All freight charges (including freight charges involved in warranty claims) are the responsibility of the customer. "Australian Tropical Products" delivers Australia-wide using the services of Australia Post, and couriers. 
Overseas delivery used to be done by Australia Post courier international or an other Courier . All freight charges quoted include a basic insurance.

Freight charges vary according to destination and the size and weight of the parcel. Freight is calculated at the checkout and cost depends on the method of shipping you select to use at the point of sale. We do not seek to profit from postage charges and only charge you what you would pay if you were shipping the item yourself.

Express Post: Your express parcel will be given a unique tracking number by Australia Post.

In rural and regional areas of Australia, delivery times for Express Parcel Services are in respect of delivery to the Post Office of the principal township in that area. Delivery to final destinations may take longer. If in doubt please check with your local Post Office.

Registered Post/Insurance: G oods are not registered. They are insured to the value of AU$ 50 with Australia Post and AU$ 500 with courier. If you would like to insure for a higher value please let us know. Email: sales@australiantropicalproducts.com.au

International orders: " Australian Tropical Products" is based in Mareeba, Queensland, Australia. We will happily ship purchases overseas using Australia Post Courier International or Courier Companies, e.g. FedEx, UPS, DHL. All methods are fully traceable.

Please note: I f a country isn’t listed in our shipping list, you will get a short information message. In this case please contact us by e-mail sales@australiantropicalproducts.com.au.

9. Customs Duty

Customs (importation duty) laws - and the application of these regulations - vary widely from country to country, State to State - even from time to time. "Australian Tropical Products" does not accept responsibility for payment of customs duty should it be levied in the customer's country.
If applicable, the customer is fully responsible for payment of locally imposed importation duty.
If you are asked to pay importation duty, you may be able to get the ruling changed by pointing out the nature of the goods.

10. Availability of Goods

In the case of any product being temporarily out of stock, "Australian Tropical Products" will inform the customer and supply as soon as new stock is available.

11. Error and Omissions

Even though considerable care has been taken with the preparation of all information and prices on this site, "Australian Tropical Products" will not be held responsible for typographical or other errors or omissions regarding prices or any information given.

Product images are to be used as a guide only. The actual product may vary slightly in colour, size or other aspects
